General Responsibilities

Empire State Bank is a full service commercial/residential lender offering Commercial and Residential Real Estate Loans; 2-4 family investor properties and SBA loans. We offer a great package of Business Checking products with supporting business services. We are currently looking for an experienced Business Relationship Manager with a Residential background. The ideal candidate should be a community oriented performer who is entrenched in the market and has current relationships and can bring a loyal customer following. The Business Relationship Manager will offer residential, and commercial loans, and all banking products and services to potential customers along with other duties as assigned. This position is based in Staten Island and covers the Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Queens market.

Education and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business, finance, banking, real estate, or a related field a plus, or equivalent combination of education plus at least 5 years’ experience in residential loans, proven sales track coupled with the ability to identify customers’ needs and cross sell our products and services; foster open lines of communication bank wide. You would be expected to expand and maintain your customer base along with participating in local community groups and organizations. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision making ability; excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Must have a car and valid driver’s license and the ability to drive to various properties.
